I won’t hold your hand.

In the world of fitness and nutrition, many people want hand holders. Many people want the definitive answers. Many people want the fast results. These wants can lead to frustration and an unrealistic approach to progress.

Think back to last time you bought or sought out a quick fix, or template program, or a meal plan with specific “eat this, don’t eat this” guidelines. Often times, the more rigid the rules, the more likely the consumer is to give up or just simply burn out.

When it comes to fitness and nutrition, there is no “one size fits all” approach that truly works for everyone.

Something that your coworker followed and found success with might be unrealistic, too expensive, or not manageable for you and your current situation. Lifelong results don’t come from following a strict, restrictive set of rules that ‘so and so’ followed.

Lifelong results come from finding your own way, what works for you, and what you can sustain, build on, and learn from over time, and in it for the long haul.

But you don’t have to find it alone. With the amount of crazy stuff out there and misinformation, it can be incredibly overwhelming.

Most people KNOW what to do more of, eat more of, eat less of, and do less of. Where most people fall off is when it comes to finding clarity amongst all of the “other stuff” out there. It’s often not a knowledge problem, but a action and implementation problem.

This is where a guide, or coach comes in.

Did Obi-Wan blow up the Death Star for Luke? No. He taught him the ways of the Force and gave him the tools to succeed in becoming a Jedi.
